- Locate, analyze, and develop logistics partners, both domestically and internationally to satisfy Logistics requirements
- Develop long-term relationships with existing logistics partners
- Find out the most cost-effective means or method of transporting supplies
- Obtain best prices amongst various freight forwarders in order to make sound purchasing decisions
- Negotiate with freight forwarders on price and delivery in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet both client and company needs
- Prepare shipping, custom clearing documents and clear goods
- Organize and manage goods and transportation
- Communicate with vendors and freight forwarders to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding shipment status
- Preparing and reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Tracking shipment within timelines from collection until delivery as per Incoterms
- Addressing and resolving all logistics / shipment issues
Namizədə tələblər
- Degree in business administration, logistics or related field preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office / internet and email skills
- Good management, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Communications skills in English & Azeri. Knowledge of Russian and Turkish is an added advantage
