- Minimum 3 years of buying experience, with at least 2 years within the retail/food category
- Excellent analytical skills including cost / benefit analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels including senior management
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to specific deadlines
- Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrable results
- Tender management experience
- Project Management and implementation skills
