SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS
The interested applicants must send copies of the mandatory documents listed below by mail [email protected] to the Selection Committee by January 14, 2021.
i. The application form (https://sistemas.mre.gov.br/kitweb/datafiles/Baku/en-us/file/Application%20form.PDF) must be completed in full.
ii. A current “Curriculum Vitae”, in English or Portuguese, containing a photograph, e-mail, street address and telephone number.
iii. A valid passport or a copy of the identity document which is valid in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
iv. Evidence of high school completion or an equivalent, or of holding a university degree.
v. Non-Azerbaijani nationals, including Brazilian nationals, must prove that the applicant has the right to reside in Azerbaijan permanently, and is legally entitled to take full-time paid employment for an undetermined length of time, within the terms of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Compliance with this requirement as well as the entitlement to take full-time paid employment will be in force during the duration of the contract of employment.
vi. A valid negative criminal background check report issued less than three months prior to the date of application.
vii. Evidence of being physically and mentally fit as certified by an official medical institution;
viii. For Brazilian nationals (whether or not they are nationals of another country), to present the following documents (Decree no.1570, art. VII, §2):
a) A statement declaring that the applicant is aware that the employment at the Embassy of Brazil in Baku is not to be confused with any Brazilian public post or employment (the statement form is included in the Application Form);
b) A statement confirming that the applicant does not hold any public post or employment in Brazil (this statement form is also included in the Application Form);
c) Voting Compliance Record (“Certidão de Quitação Eleitoral”); and
d) For Brazilian male applicants, certificate of compliance with military service by providing record of service enrolment or discharge from the military.
Optional documents:
i. A cover letter;
ii. Evidence of language in English, Azerbaijani, Portuguese and/or Spanish;
iii. Recent recommendation letters; and
iv. Other relevant evidence of professional qualifications.
6.2 The documents listed in item 6.1 above must be sent to the e-mail address [email protected].
6.3 Any documents sent outside the application period or in an incomplete format will be disqualified. Only the applicants who send the full set of mandatory documents listed under item 6.1 will be considered in the selection process.
6.4 The applicant is responsible for the authenticity and veracity of the information and documents provided with the application.
6.5 The Embassy of Brazil cannot sponsor any visa applications for this job vacancy and will not become involved in matters pertaining to immigration issues. In case the applicant is not Azerbaijani, he/she must already have been granted a visa which allows full-time employment.
